Our work on the Black River Quarries display is now in progress. This Vermont-based company offers exceptional quality stone that is unique to their region.
Here’s some information from their website:
“Bringing together 30 years of Stone Veneer Production, Marketing, and Sales expertise, Black River Quarries is dedicated to producing a high-quality product that not only meets but exceeds all industry specifications. Our approach combines real Vermont Granite with Mica Schists, a metamorphic rock rich in quartz. Situated within the picturesque Quimby Mountain Stone Quarry, in the beautiful town of Sharon, Vermont, our location is just 3 miles south of Sharon Town Center on Route 14.”
Our current project involves the completion of the New England Round Fieldstone (lower left). Next in line is the installation of the Tuscany Ashlar, followed by the Copper Mountain Ashlar, Verde Square and Rectangular, and Black Mica Ashlar. We’ll be updating this project with photos as we make progress.
Patrick is dedicated to his role, and the results speak for themselves! Kudos to the entire team, including Andy, Patrick, and Juliannah, for their outstanding work on this project.
Here are some updated photos of the Black River Quarries display. The installation method involved Techniseal Sticky Stone, which would be ideal for interior applications only. We’ll go back in with a traditional mortar for the grout in between stones.
