Split Face CMUʼs are extremely durable, fire and mold resistant, and energy efficient due to high thermal mass. The raw materials used to produce most colors of our Split Face Blocks are local.
Split Face Blocks are fractured using a splitter exposing natural aggregates and creating a natural “rock-like” surface. They can be used for maintenance free interior and/or exterior applications.
Split Face Blocks are available in a wide array of colors as well as natural and white. The blocks represent structural soundness, durability and fire resistance, along with aesthetically appealing exposed natural aggregates.
Please note that most Polished Ground Face, Ground Face, Split Face, and Split Face colors are interchangeable.

- Half Units and Half High Units

Bond Beams and Lintels – Used where reinforcing is needed.

Corners – One face and one end split, used for exterior corners.

Materials
- All load bearing units shall conform to ASTM C-90.
- All Normal Weight aggregates shall conform to ASTM C-33.
- All Light Weight aggregates shall conform to ASTM C-331.
- All Portland Cements shall conform to ASTM C-150.
