Recommended for coloring ready-mix concrete and other masonry products including concrete blocks and pavement
Available in 10 and 25 lb. disintegrating bags.
Applications:
Disintegrating bags can be added directly to the concrete
Approximate mix ratios:
- 1 or 2 lbs. of Ironoxx™ per 94 lb. bag of cement for light shades
- 2 or 4 lbs. of Ironoxx™ per 94 lb. bag of cement for medium shades
- 5 or more lbs. of Ironoxx™ per 94 lb. bag of cement for darker shades
Using grey cement will result in “buff” or softer color
Using white cement will result in “brighter” or pastel color
To ensure consistent color, keep all variables the same from batch to batch
Variations in the mix design, mixing time, and curing conditions, will affect the final color
Always perform a sample batch to confirm acceptability the color result
